It is several months between newsletters and sometimes there notices of changes or new information that will not be available until tne next issue of the 34th Story.Check this page periodically for notices and reminders and we will also send out messages to those who have suppied Shelagh Harris with their email address.
As our membership has grown, it has become increasingly difficult to maintain a telephone network. For this reason the executive has decided to use email, the website and the newsletter as the primary means of communicating
with the membership. As of September 2004, reminders of future events will be by by email ONLY. If you have added or changed your email address please let Shelagh know by sending her a message at shelagh_harris@hotmail.com.

Volunteering for Community Living
Community Living Newmarket/Aurora District is a non-profit organization that helps people who have developmental disabilities to live and work in the community. We run group homes, assist members to live on their own or with their families, organize programs, activities and field trips, and help them to volunteer or work in the community.
There is a wide range of activities to become involved in: spend one-on-one time with a particular friend or work on a fundraising committee. These committees include the Tribute Dinner, the Treat Yourself Silent Auction, the Golf Tournament, and the Associate Families Poetry Contest and Gala. Check it our on the website at www.clnad.com.
